Job description
We are looking for a Resident Engineer to join our client team in Gaydon.
Responsibilities:
- Attend Meetings to update the customer on issues.
- Work with other residents to support the teams with details/results required
- Update AIMs (once trained) and other systems with details of issues/resolution.
- Report to the management on issues and updates.
- Work on vehicle/Labcar to identify issues, or report back data from testing.
- Review documents supplied and integrated them into the system, either through team or direct access to the depository.
- Visit the manufacturing site to review/resolve issues, and report as required.
- Work with the teams to integrate the products into both car and internal systems.
- Support internal and external Meetings.
Experience required:
- Autosar
- ARXML edition according to Autosar standard
- Mentor VSB Software edition know-how
- Vector DaVinci Software edition know-how
- BSW stack design & development know-how
- SSDS definition and Autosar DEM & DCM know-how
- Car configuration maintenance according to internal and external requests.
- Diagnostic specification know-how
- Dealer diagnostics usage know-how
- Network Management knowledge
- Lauterbach/Trace32 knowledge for Infineon TC39x/TC38x processors
- Greenhills compiler know-how
- Build environment maintenance and pretest with the above debugging tools.
- CANoe configurations handling and panels edition via programming interfaces.
- CANoe/Canalyser skills and experience
- Knowledge of ISO262626:2011 & 2018 standards, including customer responsibilities.
- Flexray, CAN, LIN, and Ethernet know-how, about protocols, transmission, and communications.
- Oscilloscope handling and analysis of signals during failure events.
- Support to rework parts in house
- Circuitry analysis skills for prototype issues support.
- General multimeter and electrical fault analysis
- Drawings released in OEM's system.
- Ability to read and decipher DTC data
- Ability to interpret ECU PID data and convert it to Ascii
- Ability to understand part 2 diagnostic specification and gain information from the document.

Additional information:
- The location is mainly Gaydon with trips to Spain
- Some travel around the Midlands to support the local manufacturing plants, maybe a trip to Nitra, Slovakia if needed
